Beth Ann Bogan, age 64, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 12th, 2021 due to complications from the COVID-19 vaccine booster. Beth is survived by her loving husband Thomas, her son Ryan and her daughter Allyson. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Helen Schen. She spent her life dedicated to volunteering and serving those in need. Her vibrant and positive personality provided light for everyone who knew her. Beth was born on October 17th, 1957, in Canton, Ohio. She grew up in a home full of love and laughter with five brothers and just one sister. She met her husband in Ohio at a bar after work and although it took some convincing, she gave him a chance and the rest is history. Beth and Tom married in 1988 and welcomed their son Ryan in 1989 and daughter Allyson in 1991. Their marriage of 33 years was filled with happiness and love due to their shared beliefs and complete respect for each other. Those who knew her best always admired Beth's kindness and selfless spirit. Her life's work included time spent as an elementary school librarian, volunteer coordinator in the non-profit sector for underprivileged children, and a volunteer program manager in the Hospice industry serving the veteran and elderly communities. If anyone needed a helping hand, she was there. She always brought a plate of delicious homemade cookies for any occasion, along with a shoulder to cry on if needed. Most important to Beth was her family and her faith. She carried a quiet strength and resiliency with her that came from the purest form of love. Along with her husband and spirit of God, she taught her kids the importance of kindness and provided them with values they will hold onto forevermore. Her passion for baking was a family tradition, carried on from time spent with her own mother, that she later shared with her daughter, Ally. Ryan inherited her curiosity for life and quiet strength. We implore all those who knew and loved her to keep her spirit alive with your memories and to continue her legacy. There will be funeral arrangements made for after the holidays and the family will notify loved ones separately. For those who wish to express sympathy or provide memorial tributes, Beth would be honored by donations made to the Tourette Association of America. Use link - https://tourette.org/beth-bogan
